On 22 February 2022 my dad passed on the day I finished my album "Impala '59". It was as if he were waiting for me to finish it and then with the peace of mind that I finally finished it, he left. This album is intended as a tribute to him through (some of) the songs he taught me to love. All foundations of everything I know in music I learned from him. To play all the songs he taught me to love would make a humongous album. So I picked some of the songs he loved the most, and they are all included on this album. This album is being released on the 22nd of November 2022, exactly 9 months after his passing and will conclude my official period of mourning, personally and creatively. All of my proceeds of this album will be donated to kidney and prostate research. By buying this album you're contributing in helping to find a cure for the ailment that killed my dad and to hopefully prevent it from happening in the future to other people. Thank you for listening to this tribute and helping me to remember my dad, the most important man in my (musical-) life. Thank you!
